Refund Policy

This policy outlines the refund and cancellation terms for products and services purchased from Mind Insurance (Better Humans Pty Ltd trading as Mind Insurance, ACN 612 225 966).

We want you to feel confident purchasing from us. If something isn’t right, please contact us at contact@mindinsurance.com.au and we will do our best to resolve it fairly.


1. Digital products and assessments

Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds on assessments, tools, reports, or downloadable resources once they have been accessed or delivered.

This includes:

  • Premium assessments (PVQ21, Landscape for Flourishing, Strengths Profile Expert Report)
  • Assessment bundles and packages
  • Downloadable guides and worksheets
  • Any other digital resource delivered electronically

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing a product you have purchased, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will work to resolve the issue or provide an alternative.


2. Coaching services

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no cost.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled session The session fee is forfeited. In exceptional circumstances, we may offer a reschedule at our discretion.

No-shows If you do not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the session fee is forfeited.

Cancellations by Mind Insurance If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or reschedule at your preference.


3. Consulting and workshops

Refund and cancellation terms for consulting engagements, in-house workshops, and organisational programs are outlined in the service agreement provided at the time of booking.

Generally:

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before a scheduled engagement will receive a full refund of any deposit paid
  • Cancellations made within 14 days may forfeit the deposit
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the engagement date may forfeit the full fee

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to reschedule an engagement, please contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.


4. Keynote speaking

Speaking engagement bookings are managed through Saxton Speakers Group. Refund and cancellation terms are governed by Saxton’s conditions. Please refer to your booking agreement or contact Saxton directly for details.


5. Courses and educational programs

Courses delivered through the Institute of Emotional Intelligence (instituteofei.com.au) are subject to the Institute’s own refund and cancellation policy. Please refer to the Institute’s website for details.


6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product or service is faulty, not as described, or fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of our policy above.


7. How to request a refund

To request a refund or discuss a cancellation, please contact us:

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.
