This practice is an analytical practice designed to sharpen our awareness of the reality of things when they initially appear as something different.
There are many times in our lives where things appear to us in one way but on further inspection or analysis it turns out that the reality is something quite different.
This practice both opens our minds and hearts to how different things can be to how they appear as well as sharpen our awareness of that difference.
